RANIECHEMIE was founded. They started production, quality control and also development of thickeners and auxiliaries for carpet industry in rented premises (area of 200 m2) of the company Alumet. Within two years the volume considerably increased so that the place became too small. Therefore they bought a site at Fritz-Kotz-Straße 31 and built a hall with production, warehouse and offices. In May 1985 RANIECHEMIE moved to their own premises. Late in 1985 the company achieved a turnover of 1.3 million Euro with 5 employees and 3 temporary helpers.
